This year’s Director’s Ride will be to the Great Lakes HOG Rally in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. As you may have heard, HOG is moving forward with regional rallys instead of state rallys. This is the multi-state regional rally for the Midwest, and according to the Motor Co:
“Northern Lights” Great Lakes H.O.G. Rally in Sault Ste Marie, the oldest city in Michigan. Featuring
the Soo Locks & Native American History
dating back 350 years with outstanding
riding along the scenic coastlines and
stunning forests in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
The Rally is Thursday evening August 17 through Saturday afternoon August 19.
We will leave Wednesday August 16th, spending the night in northern Wisconsin to rest and relax for the next day’s riding. On Thursday Aug 17th, we will continue the ride to the Rally. We will have a second hotel near the Rally for Thurs night, Friday night, and Saturday night.
We will return on Sunday the 20th, taking a direct route back, approximately 400 miles for the return trip.
Please contact me at email@example.com or 414-793-6550 if you are interested, I will get you hotel and registration information for the Rally. We will look into blocks of hotel rooms based on interest.
Please let me know by the March Chapter meeting of possible.

Due to the incredible response of the Bushy’s Pub Lunch I need to make this announcement!
This will be a buffet meal with the following items on the menu:
- Grilled Brats with the sides of onions and kraut and condiments
- Wings with Plain sauce and BBQ sauce
- with side of ranch dressing
- Baked Beans
- Potato salad
- Garden salad
- Ranch and French dressing
The cost of the buffet is $11.95/ person…this does not include tax, group gratuity or beverage. My rough estimate is $15 per person for the meal/beverage/tax/gratuity.
Since the restaurant is planning for the amount of attendees that I have given them, I have to ask that if you signed up and don’t make the meal, that you will still need to pay for the meal. They will be generating one bill to be paid so you will need to give your money to Karen. She will have a list of everyone who signed up.
This is very important: I ask that if you are not going to be able to attend, I need to know no-later-than 7:30 AM on Thursday, January 5th. If I don’t hear from you I will assume you will be attending.
